“There are reasons to be worried from an economic point of view,” says Gabriel Attal

Guest of the France 2 show 4 Vérités, Thursday November 7, Gabriel Attal returned to the election of Donald Trump following the American presidential election. “It is the sovereign choice of the Americans”he began. The former Prime Minister questions the impact of this choice for the French and for France. “There are reasons to be concerned from an economic point of view since the trade tensions that we have experienced in recent years will be even stronger”he says.

From a geopolitical point of view, too, the election of Donald Trump is not good news for Gabriel Attal, particularly with regard to the war in Ukraine. As for the climate challenge, the former Prime Minister recalls that we “needs the commitment of the great powers, notably the United States”.
