ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – Tonight’s forecast features an easterly breeze and partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s for many with little to no rain chances.
Monday will be similar to Sunday, with highs climbing toward the upper 70s and low 80s due to cloud cover. Rain chances will be low, but an isolated shower is possible. Tuesday will have less cloud cover which will allow temperatures to rise back into the mid-80s, but clouds quickly return Tuesday evening with rain chances. Lows will remain in the 60s.
After nearly a month of no rainfall, it’s back starting on Wednesday. A disturbance in the atmosphere and moisture move in to kick off showers on Wednesday morning. We will see a continuation of clouds through the afternoon and evening leading to highs barely making it to the upper 70s and low 80s for many. Rain chances will not stop there as tropical moisture moves in mid-week as well.
TROPICAL UPDATE: Potential Tropical Cyclone #18 continues to develop in the Caribbean and forecasts predict it moving into the Gulf. This will aid in mid-week rain chances depending on its path. Currently, we are not in the direct forecast path of the system, but we will keep you updated if that changes.
