Since October 12, fifteen new students have joined the twelfth promotion of the Star Academy. This Saturday, November 2, while four candidates were in danger, Thomas, one of the nominees, had an unforgettable evening. For this 2024 edition, students have the chance to be accompanied by renowned artists such as Pascal Obispo, Hoshi, and Patrick Fiori, who came to perform several titles in duets with the candidates.

A moment of emotion offered by Patrick Fiori in the Star Academy

During the prime, Patrick Fiori, famous interpreter of Belle from the musical Notre-Dame of Parisfirst sang with Noah and Charles, two other Academy students. However, an unexpected moment surprised everyone: after this performance, Patrick Fiori decided to invite Thomas, although nominated and in danger of elimination, to join him on stage to perform the song with him Corsica. This gesture deeply touched Thomas, originally from Corsica, who could not hold back his tears.

The interpretation of Corsica was more than just a performance for Patrick Fiori. Just after the performance, he told host Nikos Aliagas the reasons which pushed him to invite Thomas to join them.

I saw his eyes at rehearsals, he had a special connection with this title. Corsicait’s a family song, and it was impossible for me to sing this melody without him.

But the surprise didn’t stop there. In addition to this moment of intense emotion, Patrick Fiori made a memorable promise to the three young singers he had invited on stage: a personal invitation to attend his concert at the Vélodrome stadium in Marseille in 2026. A major gift for Thomas, who had to leave the Star Academy at the end of the evening, eliminated by his comrades.
