All stats and data
The UBB is a strong head.
Jostled to the end by Bayonne (30-27) last weekend at home, UBB this time spared any suspense for its Chaban-Delmas audience against Usap, crushed 66-12.
The Gironde club already led 31-0 at the break, notably with two tries from international fly-half Matthieu Jalibert, later imitated by Enzo Reybier and Romain Buros, also authors of a double.

The best attack in the championship flattened a total of ten times, for an improved success which allowed it to consolidate its first place, now five points ahead of Stade Rochelais.
The only downside: the exit on a stretcher of the young international center Nicolas Depoortere, victim of a violent head-to-head collision with Apisai Naqalevu, punished with a red card.

“This score does not reflect the gap between the two teams. We had a very average match against Bayonne, we were able to rectify the situation. The red card (from Naqalevu) helped us a lot. I appreciated the fact that we remained very serious until the end,” commented Yannick Bru (manager of Bordeaux-Bègles).
For Franck Azema (Perpignan manager), “there is no photo. There is a big delta between them and us. This allows us to see the work that remains to be done to compete in this type of match. We started timidly, we lost balls and they didn’t need that to feed and score. »
