Japan won the 2025 Pastry World Cup on Saturday January 25 at the end of the third day of the Sirha in . wins second place.

Already in line with the title during the previous edition, the Japanese team again won the 2025 Pastry World Cup on Saturday January 25 during the Sirha in Lyon thanks to the know-how and talent of Masanai Hata (Chocolate candidate), Yuji Matoba (candidate sugar) and Ryu Miyazaki (ice candidate). France, meanwhile, wins second place and discomfort completes the podium.

This year, the candidates had to put all their talent forward during an unprecedented event: the chocolate show. Evidence during which the candidates produced and scenographed 26 sweet creations based on Valrhona chocolate.

For its part, Belgium has won the special eco-responsible prize, awarded by the International Organizing Committee to the team that best respected the various CSR criteria imposed by the regulations of the competition.
