Adam Sandler surprised Saturday Night Live viewers by making a quick appearance during tonight’s episode hosted by Timothée Chalamet.

Sandler introduced Chalamet before the latter channeled Bob Dylan for the musical performance portion of the show. The comedian pronounced the Dune star’s name in a very silly, Sandler kind of way.

The Sand man first made the joke with Chalamet’s name during the recent Golden Globe Awards opening monologue by host Nikki Glaser. She called out Chalamet and said, “Your name sounds like something Adam Sandler would say”. And Sandler replied, “Timothée ah Shalomayyy”

Chalamet served as tonight’s host (his third time) and musical guest revealing during the show’s opening that he will be singing Dylan’s music. The actor is currently working hard during awards season as his latest film A Complete Unknown has been nominated across various categories across many shows. Most recently, he was nominated for his second Academy Award under the Best Actor category for his portrayal of the singer-songwriter.

He later sang “Tomorrow Is A Long Time” from Bob Dylan’s Greatest Hits Volume II released in 1971.
