WWE is set for its first episode on Saturday Night Main Event this year. The last episode of Saturday Night Main Event received love across the globe. WWE started January with the Netflix Premiere of RAW which averaged 2.6 million households in the USA. WWE shattered all records amassing 4.9 million views globally uniting fans across the world.
This will be the last major event of January before the 2025 Royal Rumble in February. A few superstars might also announce their entrance to the Rumble on SNME. WWE followed a six-match pattern for the first SNME in December. Four matches have already been announced for the second edition of SNME.

WWE has announced four matches for Saturday Night Main Event on January 25, 2025. Here is the list of all the announced matches for SNME tonight.
Rhea Ripley (C) vs. Nia Jax
Nia Jax attacked Rhea Ripley backstage when the latter was entering the arena. Rhea Ripley retaliated by attacking her shortening Nia’s victory celebration. The officials had to separate these women when Rhea challenged Nia for a match at Saturday Night Main Event. They will face each other for the Women’s World Championship.
Jacob Fatu vs. Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman saved Sami Zayn when Solo’s Bloodline was brutalizing him. He saved Sami but Solo’s Bloodline started a two-on-one assault on him. He crossed paths with Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga again while saving LA Knight from their assault. The Monster Among Men will now face Jacob Fatu at SNME.
-Bron Breakker (C) vs. Sheamus for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
The WWE Intercontinental Championship is one title that has evaded Sheamus in his illustrious career. He came close to winning the title at the 2024 Survivor Series: WarGames but ended up on the losing side because of Ludwig Kaiser. Sheamus will now face Bronn Breakker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at SNME.
Gunther (C) vs. Jey Uso for the WWE Heavyweight Championship
Gunther tried to get under Jey Uso’s skin calling him names like Dork and WWE’s Mascot. He tried to trivialize Jey by calling him a “real good tag team Wrestler”. He also stated that Main Event is where he belongs while it’s just a name for Jey Uso. Jey Uso didn’t fall back and stated only one of them has been part of the WrestleMania Main Event and it ain’t Gunther. A brawl broke out between the two and Jey Uso sent Gunther reeling.
Apart from these four matches, Hall of Famer Shawn Michael will moderate the contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens for the Ladder match at the Royal Rumble.
