This Saturday, January 25, Caroline Fontenoy and Olivier Schoonejans, essential figures of RTL Info, embark on an unprecedented adventure. Their mission: to answer 10 questions of general culture to eliminate 70 candidates from the “Septuagint and one” game. A major challenge, with a noble goal: to maximize the gains to support televie.
Faced with Jean-Michel Zecca, Caroline and Olivier have a major challenge: answer 10 questions of general culture to maximize gains for the benefit of Télévie by doing better than the 70 candidates gathered in the Gradin. But as Olivier Schoonejans confides, the stakes are high: “We were a little stressed, because we thought that the info people are supposed to know everything and know everything”. Understandable stress for these figures of journalism. But, despite the stage fright, the duo addresses this mission with determination and a good dose of good humor.
Unexpected courses
Before getting to the heart of the matter, Jean-Michel Zecca did not fail to reveal some anecdotes on the two guests, revealing unknown facets of these familiar faces.
Olivier Schoonejans, the familiar face of RTL Info 1 p.m., is not only a fine connoisseur of the news. He also invests outside the sets as an active member of the Scout 26ᵉ unit in Jette where he supervises the animators with enthusiasm. “My totem is Addax, a robust antelope, we’re going to say”says Olivier with humor. A true “man-orchestra”, he multiplies the caps, still in motion. And, between two activities, he even finds time to play a little piano.
Caroline Fontenoy, for her part, hides an equally surprising past. Former an accomplished rider, she even hosted a program devoted to equestrian sports, “complete and team”. But beware, if she loves horses, she is not comfortable with all animals: Caroline is arachnophobic. And surprise: it is not his first experience in “Septuitant and one”. Caroline had already participated in the show … but as a member of the public.
Regarding their duo, Caroline is full of praise for her colleague: “He sings, he does comedy, he tells a lot of jokes, he is very laughing on the sets”. And Olivier, always ready to bounce, adds with a smile: “I fed half of the bloopers”.
The objective: to eliminate the tutor for televie
The duo will have to answer the 10 questions of general culture, and if they manage to master everything, they will be able to eliminate the 70 former candidates and maximize gains for televie. But the stake goes further … Will they dare to go to the famous “leave or double” to double their earnings? The tension is palpable, but Caroline and Olivier are counting on their good humor and their determination to carry out this mission.
