The Izz al -Din al -Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed that it had directed its fighters to treat the Israeli prisoners in the Gaza Strip, while their state has continuously sought to kill them.
This came in the words of the military council member of the Al -Qassam Brigades, Izz al -Din Al -Haddad, during an episode of the “More Female” program broadcast by Al -Jazeera satellite channel on Friday evening, under the title “The Flood”.
The episode dealt with the “Al -Aqsa Flood” attack carried out by the Palestinian factions on October 7, 2023.
During this attack, which, at the time, the bases of the Israeli army and settlements in areas adjacent to Gaza, the Palestinian factions managed to capture about 251 Israelis, many of whom were military, according to the estimates of the Israeli army.
Regarding the details of the operations of the families and securing the prisoners in light of the extermination war on Gaza launched by the Israeli army for more than 15 months, Al -Haddad said: “We have secured the operations of the families within pre -prepared paths away from the eyes of the occupation and its advanced techniques.”
He added: “We were directed to treat the prisoners according to the teachings of Islam. We were keen on the life of the enemy prisoners and their treatment of good treatment.”
However, he added, “On the other hand, our enemy decided to kill them from the first day, and he continued to kill them to this day,” a resource in this regard some evidence of this.
During a truce that lasted for a week between November 24 and December 1, the Palestinian factions in Gaza released 50 Israeli prisoners, compared to 240 Palestinian prisoners.

Today, Saturday, 4 Israeli recruits will be released, compared to 200 Palestinian prisoners.
** The justifications for the “Flood of Al -Aqsa”

He also stated from the justifications, “The aggression of the occupation against Jerusalem and the Al -Aqsa Mosque, where it assaulted, hit and cursed without any deterrent.”
As for the third justification, according to the leader of Al -Qassam, the systematic Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, which lasted for more than 18 years.
Al -Haddad continued: “Here it was necessary to flood the Al -Aqsa to spoil the systematic enemy’s plan with a shed and unprecedented premature blow in defense of our sanctities, people and our resistance.”

Regarding the planning of the “Flood of Al -Aqsa” process, Al -Haddad explained that “the decision was to adopt a plan to deceive and mislead the enemy, as we deluded him that we swallowed the taste of the facilities (which he presented to Gaza at the time to prevent any attack from it), while the preparation for fighting was in full swing.”
He added: “We identified the Al -Aqsa Flood operations area, and the goal was to attack the Gaza Band and destroy its locations and bases, as well as its security protection factions, and the families of the largest possible number of enemy soldiers to liberate the prisoners of the Palestinian people.”
And he added: “Due to the large size and expected battle, the brothers were placed in the resistance axis in the form of a trend, and we kept the time of the zero hour in our narrowest circle to ensure the success of the attack.”
He pointed out that “since the first of October 2023, the leadership of the military apparatus was in a permanent convening around the clock to ratify the plans (the process), put the final touches and control the timing of implementation.”
He added: “In the 24 hours that preceded the zero hour, the leadership and control rooms were linked to the central operations room that supervised the implementation, and the process of mobilizing and calling for the implementation of the attack duty began.”
He pointed out that “combat support weapons were ready until six thirty in the morning of October 7 (04:30 GMT).”
On the form of the operation, Al -Haddad said: “Our attack was accurately simulated by those maneuvers that our Mujahideen trained, and at the zero hour, our missile shells and the swarm of our running and paragraph aircraft and our maritime units with thousands of the elite of Al -Qassam Infantry who crossed the separation wall after they fell to the hands of Mujahideen in the engineering units “.
He pointed out that “the Gaza group fell in a few hours, announcing the success of the Al -Aqsa Flood implementation with amazing success, as the enemy did not reach any information about it despite the large size of the operation, nor did its defenses actively work in front of our fighters.”
With American support, Israel committed between October 7, 2023 and January 19, 2025, a group extermination of Gaza that left more than 158,000 dead and wounded by the Palestinians, most of them children and women, and more than 14 thousand missing, and one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
Regarding what he considers a failure for Israel during this war of extermination, Al -Haddad said: “One of the most prominent features of failure among the enemy and the important effects of the Al -Aqsa Flood of the consecutive resignations and confessions of the enemy of the enemy. Political level, on top of which is (Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu.
He added: “We are confident that these resignations and this controversy will continue and escalate when investigations are deepened and the features of failure and defeat are more and more in the coming days and months.”
Al -Haddad stressed that “the leadership leadership of the occupation in America and the West will not be unless it complies with our just demands to stop the aggression and withdraw from the entire Gaza Strip and release our prisoners in the occupation prisons, especially the prisoners of life, and lift the siege and reconstruction.”
