Two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka will take on a resurgent Madison Keys in the final of the Australian Open 2025 final on Saturday.
World No.1 Sabalenka defeated Paula Badosa 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinal to stay in the hunt for a third straight title in Melbourne. No woman has achieved the feat since Martina Hingis’ hat-trick of Australian Open crowns from 1997 to 1999.
She will next face Madison Keys, who brought Iga Swiatek’s dominant run in Melbourne to an end with a comeback 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 win on Thursday. This will be the American’s first appearance in an Australian Open final.
