“I think they turned against me. And first a liver transplant: making horns the liver is fine. And then they gave me up for dead: I'm still here.” Al Bano is tired of denying fake news and, once again, had to use social media to get back to the point, regarding a piece of news that had leaked. It seems that the reunion between the artist and his ex-wife Romina Power is renewed. “Now they have invented four or five shows with Romina, even with dates and theatres: it's a big lie”, denied the artist.

“They annoy not only me but all those who read – continued Al Bano – Give us a pinch of good truth. I am a man of good news and everything you have read about me is fake news. I'm in good health, and thank God I can't wait to do the shows they say but nothing is set yet.”

In January Dillinger Newsthe header of Fabrizio Coronahad published the news on Instagram about the precarious health conditions of Al Bano who would have to undergo a liver transplant. “I deny everything, absolutely. It seems that it is not Fabrizio Corona, but other people. It's not him, in any case the lawyer has already taken his steps, now they will have to deal with it.” The newspapers that reported the news will be warned to eliminate any content deemed false and to receive compensation of 50 thousand euros.

There is one certainty, however. Also this year Al Bano sent some songs to enter the competition at the Sanremo Festival 2025but it didn't go through. According to what LaPresse reports, both he and Alex Britti, two of the most well-known exclusions from the Festival, would not have appreciated the artistic director's choices and this is why they would not have made themselves available to duet on the cover evening of February 14th.
