Manchester United players have arrived at Old Trafford ahead of a difficult clash against Rangers on Thursday evening.
The Reds will continue their Europa League campaign on Thursday evening, hosting Rangers at Old Trafford in their seventh league phase fixture.
United’s start to 2025 has been mixed. A hard-fought draw with Liverpool was followed by an impressive win over Arsenal.
However, their victory against Southampton relied on Amad’s stunning late hat-trick, and they were outplayed by Brighton in a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
The clash with Rangers is one United are expected to dominate—exactly the type of fixture Ruben Amorim wants his side to consistently control.
Currently sitting in the top eight of the Europa League standings, United are on track for automatic knockout qualification and Amorim is determined to maintain that position.
If the Reds were to slip below eighth place, they would be involved in the play-offs, which would add two extra games to an already packed schedule.
Rashford not yet spotted with United squad so far
Marcus Rashford has not yet been spotted with the group of players to arrive at Old Trafford ahead of their clash against the Scottish opposition.
The no.10 has not been included in a squad since United’s defeat against Newcastle, where he was an unused substitute. His last appearance for the club came in the game against Viktoria Plzen in early December.
Rumours are suggesting that, despite Amorim’s side having ongoing issues in the final third, the 27-year-old will remain out of action for this game too.
Meanwhile, Toby Collyer is in the United squad and may be eyeing a position in the lineup after three consecutive appearances from the bench.
-Antony has been included in the squad even though it has been reported that he is set to leave on loan to Real Betis in the coming days.
Alejandro Garnacho was not picked up by the club media’s camera but may have entered via a difference entrance amid speculation around his future.
A couple of other players have also not been spotted at the stadium yet, but those who have arrived at Old Trafford can be read below.
This is a developing story. Refresh for further updates on the squad ahead of the game.
