Will Feyenoord become the first club in football history on Thursday to fire its coach after a 3-0 victory over top club Bayern Munich, with a team without a large number of basic players?

HBrian Priske’s fate is sealed anyway. Long before the match against Bayern Munich, the club management decided to fire the trainer. He just had to do the competition. With a host of injuries, no one took a result into account, but the Champions League apparently unleashes unexpected forces at Feyenoord. Rising to the occasionas happened before against Girona, Benfica, Manchester City. The 3-0 win over the Record champions makes the European campaign a great success. With thirteen points the intermediate round has almost been reached, a formidable achievement.

The only question now is: when will Feyenoord break with Priske? Anyone who saw the team play against Bayern Munich did not see a team that seems to be done with its coach. Rarely did Feyenoord work harder than on Wednesday evening in De Kuip. Priske was once again unable to rely on many basic players and saw his two remaining controlling midfielders, Ramiz Zerrouki and Gjivai Zechiël, dropped the day before Munich.
