Thursday January 23 in Here it all begins…

Quentin innocents Cléo and goes on the run

At the Institute, Leonard and Malik think that Quentin ran away the day before because there are no more belongings to him in his room. If Leonard feels guilty for having told Clotilde, Malik believes on the contrary that he did the right thing. Leonard, however, fears Maya's reaction.

Malik decides to go with her to talk to her. They come across Thelma, who comes out of her room alone. She is surprised to see them since Maya told her she was going on a long weekend with them. Malik and Leonard then understand that Maya has fled with her brother.

In fact, they are by car, heading to Spain. During a break on the road, Quentin threatens to go to the police if Maya does not turn around. He refuses to waste his life. In tears, the young girl has no choice but to let her brother go alone. He then gives him a signed confession letter so that Cléo is exonerated.

As soon as she is in possession of this letter, Clotilde alerts Captain Brassac. He confirms that Cléo will be released after a medical evaluation. At the same time, Gaspard joins them to find out more about his attacker. He is worried to learn that it is Quentin and that he still has not been arrested.

After which, Clotilde arranges to meet Joachim at the local café so that he can meet Cléo. She lets them enjoy their reunion together. Cléo emphasizes how much Clotilde fought for her. The young girl also hopes that Joachim will reconcile with her because she sees clearly that they still love each other.

Meanwhile, Marc goes to the CDI to inform Jim and Jasmine of the situation. Even if Cléo is innocent, Jasmine considers that she is too dangerous and that she should be interned in HP.

For her part, Maya finds comfort in Malik's arms. He tries to console her, while she has no news of her brother. Leonard tries to come talk to her, but Maya violently rejects him, accusing him of stealing her only family.

At the end of the day, Joachim thanks Clotilde for welcoming Cléo into her home at least for the evening. He also thanks her for everything she did to clear him. He admires her fighting spirit. Joachim then decides to come back and live under the same roof. Reconciled, the couple kiss…

Gaëtan confronts Stanislas

Alice announces to Gaëtan that she has used a dating application to find other regular sexual partners. She explains that she thought about it thanks to her discussion the day before with Stanislas.

Stanislas tells Hortense that his conversation with Alice the day before took an unexpected turn. The latter misunderstood what he wanted to say to her and believed that he was recommending that she look elsewhere.

At the same time, Gaëtan comes to confront Stanislas about this. He suspects the butler of having a crush on Alice, admitting to knowing that he was her first choice to lose her virginity. He therefore wants to make things clear: he intends to do everything to ensure that his relationship with Alice lasts.

At the end of the day, Stanislas is forced to admit to Hortense that he likes Alice. However, he does not intend to follow through so as not to spoil anything between her and Gaëtan.

A star arrives at the Institute

At the Commissary, Billie apologizes to Anaïs for her somewhat harsh comments the day before. The latter does not hold it against him, praising his qualities as a butler. Billie then admits that she fears being locked in this box and no longer having the skills in the kitchen. She also regrets that Tom is too focused on himself to coach her at this level. Anaïs then suggests that she join her brigade for a shift so that she can get back into the swing of things.

At the Workshop, Anaïs encourages Tom to stop navel gazing and to lament his fate in relation to Emi. She opens his eyes to the fact that Billie needs to be supported.

Meanwhile, Billie asks Stanislas for permission to go into the kitchen for the next day's service. He accepts. At the same time, Rose and Teyssier show Double A to Romain Valdine, a rising star of French gastronomy. Billie is introduced to him. The young girl thus learns that the young chef is going to give a masterclass next week to certain students.

At the end of the day, Tom finds Billie in her room to apologize for having been selfish. To make up for it, he organized a comforting and relaxing evening. He also gives her a gift to boost her self-confidence. Billie then informs him that Romain Valdine, of whom he is a fan, has just arrived at the Institute where he is going to hold a masterclass. Tom is excited.
