It's D-day: the SNCF opens its ticket office for the May bridges and the Easter holidays and there won't be something for everyone

The sale of train tickets for the spring holidays and May bridges began this Wednesday at 6 a.m., announced The Parisian or even Le Figaro. The Inoui and Intercités TGVs running between March 31 and May 11 inclusive are affected.

Several long weekends

This period will likely attract the interest of travelers, since it encompasses the spring break – set between April 5 and May 5 depending on the area – as well as several long weekends. Among them we find the Easter weekend, from 1April 9 to 21as well as those of May 1st and 8thtwo public holidays that fall on a Thursday this year.

Reservations are also open for classic Ouigo, SNCF's low-cost trains, as well as for international trips, with the exception of the classic Ouigo Train between Paris and Brussels.

More than a million tickets sold

Last year, when sales opened, more than a million tickets were sold in just twenty-four hours. For journeys after May 12, the next sales opening is scheduled for February 12.
