The General Meteorological Authority announced a rapid state of weather fluctuations starting today, Tuesday, as regions in the west of the country, including Matrouh and parts of the Western Sahara, will witness moderate intensity rain that may be thundery at times.

The authority explained that as time progresses and the evening arrives, the rain will expand to include the rest of the northwestern coasts, in addition to the governorates of Lower Egypt, such as: (Alexandria – Beheira – Kafr El-Sheikh – Gharbia – Menoufia – Dakahlia).
As for the interior regions, including Sharkia Governorate, Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, and northern Upper Egypt, it is expected to witness light rain that may become moderate during the night hours.

The authority warned against being deceived by the warm weather during the day, noting the formation of dense water mist, which may reach the point of fog, in some areas during the morning hours.
She called on citizens to be careful while moving, especially on highways that may witness a lack of visibility.

The General Authority of Meteorology provided a set of tips for vehicle drivers to deal with dense water fog on the roads, in order to preserve the safety of travelers. These tips include:
- Quiet and safe driving: Adhere to traffic police instructions, and reduce speed while driving.
- Car ventilationOpen the car window slightly to prevent water vapor from condensing inside.
- Turn on parking lights: To ensure that the car is seen by others.
- Use windshield wipers regularly: To maintain clarity of vision.
- Relying on the light of the Shaboura: Available in cars to determine distances between vehicles day or night.
- Double the safety distance: To ensure safe stopping between cars.
- Avoid going in the opposite direction: Adhere to the correct path to avoid accidents.
- Avoid using sudden brakes: To avoid the car sliding in any direction.
- Turn on deviation signals at the right time: To secure your path and the path of others.

These weather fluctuations are expected to continue for a few days with a gradual decrease in temperatures, which requires wearing heavy clothing and being careful while moving, especially in the early morning and night hours.
