Kamala Harris graced Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration held today in Washington D.C. The former vice president was accompanied by Vice President-elect U.S. Senator JD Vance.
The politician kept things simple for the occasion, sporting a pair of classic black leather pumps. The chosen heels included glossy black leather uppers accompanied by sharp pointed toes in a triangular shape and stiletto heels standing at around 2 to 3 inches in height. The silhouette is not unlike Harris’ beloved Manolo Blahnik Lisa pumps in black, which she’s worn on numerous occasions in the 90mm and 70mm styles.

If she’s not wearing Manolo Blahnik, it’s likely Harris’ leather pumps hail from Roger Vivier or Prada, two of her other favorite designer footwear brands. The attorney’s shoe choice is simple in nature but impactful, imparting a sophisticated vibe. Black leather pumps are classic for a reason. They’re exceedingly versatile and beloved by a multitude of stars, not just political figures.
Harris went the monochrome route like many of the political figures in attendance today, wearing an all-black ensemble to match her pumps. Her look consisted of a black wool overcoat accompanied by a black suit jacket and tailored trousers. A black and white scarf kept Harris cozy while black leather gloves mirrored the leather uppers of her footwear.
