US President Donald Trump’s Health Problems
In the last few years, Donald Trump’s weight has been a topic of discussion. In 2018, medical records indicated he weighed 239 pounds (108 kg), classifying him as overweight. By 2020, he self-reported his weight as 215 pounds (97.5 kg). However, more recent assessments from October 2024 list his weight at 244 pounds (110 kg), categorizing him as medically obese.
Despite being medically obese, Trump has made a record of never smoking and staying away from alcohol — two biggest contributors to his current health and well-being. As per reports, the US president has also fought serious health issues due to high cholesterol. In a report released in 2018, it was revealed that Trump had high cholesterol levels and that it had made him suffer from a common form of heart disease. However, with his dedication and lifestyle changes, Trump reversed his cholesterol levels and was free from any heart conditions by 2020.
When it comes of health concerns, reports also suggest that Trump has a family history of dementia; his father, Fred Trump, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in his mid-80s.
