ACROSS THE REGION. SO GET READY TO BUNDLE UP. WE’RE CHECKING OUT YOUR MONDAY FORECAST THAT BEGINS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ACROSS THE METRO. AND THE ENTIRE WLKY REGION IN TOWN. IT’S FOUR IN MIDDLETOWN TO SEVEN DOWNTOWN. THAT’S SEVEN AT ALI INTERNATIONAL IS THE OFFICIAL TEMPERATURE. AND YOU SEE IT’S ON THE HIGHER SIDE OF THE NORMAL OF THE NUMBERS BY A COUPLE OF DEGREES ACROSS OUR REGION. WE DIP TO THREE IN E-TOWN, CAMPBELLSVILLE, SEYMOUR AND MADISON. STILL A LITTLE BIT OF A WEST AND NORTHWEST BREEZE AROUND 5 TO 10MPH. THAT PLUNGES THE WIND CHILLS IN MANY LOCATIONS BETWEEN ABOUT FOUR BELOW IN E-TOWN AND CAMPBELLSVILLE AND NINE BELOW IN SEYMOUR, INDIANA. AND THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DRESS FOR WITH THAT BITTER COLD FEELING LIKE IT’S SUBZERO ON OUR BODY. SO MAKE SURE YOU LAYER UP HEAVY COATS AND JACKETS NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE DAY. WE TOOK SOME OF THE SNOW SHOWERS FROM YESTERDAY. PUSH THOSE ON OFF TOWARDS THE EAST. NOW. DRIER SKIES BUT ARCTIC AIR IS SETTLING IN. SO EVEN WITH MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES, WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIGID THROUGH THE DAY. JUST 12 MIDDAY WILL MAKE A RUN AT A HIGH OF ONLY 18 DEGREES TODAY. COME DOWN A DEGREE TO 17 BY 5:00 AND JUST SLOWLY FALL INTO THE MIDDLE TEENS BY TEN. A LITTLE UPTICK IN CLOUD COVER TONIGHT, BUT THAT’S GOING TO BE ABOUT IT. IN OUR SKIES WERE DOMINATED BY HIGH PRESSURE OFF TO OUR WEST. AND THIS IS ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE. AND WHILE IT KEEPS US ON THE QUIET SIDE WEATHER WISE, THE TEMPERATURES ARE VERY COLD FROM WELL BELOW ZERO IN THE NORTHERN PLAINS TO EVEN NUMBERS BELOW FREEZING ALONG THE GULF COAST. WE’RE IN A VERY COLD MIDDLE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS RIGHT NOW, AND HIGHS JUST IN THE TEENS THE NEXT TWO AFTERNOONS. VERY COLD TODAY AND TOMORROW. WE STILL HAVE LOWS IN THE SINGLE NUMBERS. WEDNESDAY MORNING. HIGHS REBOUND A LITTLE BIT TO 29 ON WEDNESDAY. AND THEN WE GET ABOVE FREEZING FOR THE END OF THE WEEK. STILL VERY CHILLY BUT ABOVE FREEZING INTO THE 30S THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING, A FLURRY CAN’T BE RULED OUT, BUT THIS ISN’T GOING TO CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS AND TEMPERATURES GET A LITTLE MILDER INTO THE WEEKEND. WE’RE 47 AND DRY SATURDAY, 44 SUND
