Peaceful rally held in Birmingham in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A rally for freedom and democracy was held in Birmingham to honor the legacy and life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Birmingham Indivisible held the peaceful rally Jan. 18 at the federal courthouse and was in conjunction with the National People’s March which took place in Washington, D.C. and across the country.According to a news release, the rally featured many speakers including Alabama Lawmakers Merika Coleman and Neil Rafferty, and other community leaders.Coming Together: Project CommUNITY
