Egyptian Omar Marmoush has become the most expensive transfer deal for African players in the history of football after joining England’s Manchester City from Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt for 80 million euros.

Yesterday, Friday, Omar Marmoush bid farewell to Eintracht Frankfurt fans in preparation for his transfer to Manchester City during the current winter transfer period.

Florian Plattenberg, a journalist for Sky Sport Germany, revealed that Marmoush will undergo a medical examination in Manchester City on Monday.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, who specializes in the transfer market, indicated that the total value of the deal reached 80 million euros, with 75 million euros as a fixed fee plus 5 million as variables according to the player’s performance.
