GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) – This week will see a gradual warm up in temperatures.
Colder Then Warmer
The cold front moved through during the overnight and has allowed cold air to move in, which has kept temperatures below freezing for most of the day. Wind flow from the north will continue to allow cold air to move into our region the next few days. High temperatures to start the week will be in the mid 20s to low 30s with morning lows mainly in the single digits. By mid-week, high pressure will take over and warm high temperatures to the upper 30s and low 40s for the rest of the week with morning lows in the single digits to mid-teens. High pressure will also keep the skies mostly sunny this week along with no precipitation.

-This evening will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures dropping into the teens and 20s. Sunday will be mostly cloudy with morning lows of about 11 degrees in Grand Junction, 6 degrees in Montrose, 8 degrees in Delta, 2 degrees in Cortez, and 10 degrees in Moab. High temperatures in the afternoon will be about 30 degrees in Grand Junction, 25 degrees in Montrose, 29 degrees in Delta, 31 degrees in Cortez, and 33 degrees in Moab.
