Since there are probably problems with a camera, a goal counts for RB Leipzig despite a possible offside position. VfL Bochum is starting to catch up.

Excitement in Bochum! In the game between VfL and RB Leipzig, Antonio Nusa’s 2-0 win (13th) might not have counted. Because: Christoph Baumgartner was probably offside during the creation – at least that’s what the images suggested.

Baumgartner got the ball on the edge of the penalty area before it ended up in a detour to goal scorer Nusa. Baumgartner seemed to be standing with his hoe in the forbidden zone. Referee Robert Hartmann initially awarded the goal.

Bochum is starting a crazy race to catch up

Then the goal was checked by VAR Guido Winkmann – apparently without an offside line! After Sky-Information there were problems with the camera, the calibrated line could not be drawn – the hit remained.

This was entirely to the detriment of VfL Bochum, who were 3-0 down at the break after conceding two more goals from Willi Orban (10th) and Baumgartner (21st). But VfL was undeterred by all the commotion and started a furious comeback.

Within 13 minutes, Myron Boadu (48th/57th/61st) equalized 3-3 with a flawless hat trick and caused the “anne Castroper” stadium to shake.
