School, government office closures: Parish-by-parish

LOUISIANA, USA — Southeast Louisiana is bracing for wintry weather with bitter cold temperatures that could bring freezing and dangerous conditions.

As Louisiana anticipates the cold, some area schools are announcing closures. Below is a list of schools that have and haven’t announced plans to close on Tuesday (Jan. 21, 2025).
