Genoa manager Patrick Vieira spoke to Sky Sport shortly after his side’s 3-1 defeat to Roma.

“The technical aspect made all the difference tonight,” Vieira said after the match.

“Roma is a Champions League team. We came here with confidence and played with personality but the second goal took the wind out of us.”

“Today the important thing is Genoa and today we played a positive game but there was too much difference in terms of technical assets,” he added.

“We can learn many things from this game,” concluded the Rossoblu manager.
