At the microphone ofEurosportjournalist Frédéric Verdier reacted to Novak Djokovic's anger against a spectator during his victory against Tomas Machac in the third round of the Australian Open this Friday.

“With Justine Henin, we made the same observation during the meeting (which they commented on, editor’s note). There is always this absolute demand from Novak Djokovic, this desire to leave nothing to chance, this very conflicting and not at all linear relationship with the public. Unlike Nadal and Federer, who have always been relatively loved or even adored by audiences around the world, he will not have resigned himself to this ugly duckling side. All it takes is for a spectator to criticize him, even if he has a very good match, for him to not be happy. He wants to be loved by everyone even if he knows that this is not possible but he seeks unanimity among others and excellence within himself. »
