Special works council at Lunch Garden: unions expect bad news

The Lunch Garden chain, which has about 60 restaurants, has undergone restructuring in recent years. At the end of 2023, more than 800 people still worked at the company, while in 2020 there were still 1,100.

According to ACV trade unionist Leen Huybrechts, the subject of the special works council is “an update on the current situation”. The meeting starts on Monday at 8:30 am at the company’s headquarters in Evere.
