This multi-year partnership between Mistral AI, a European company already a major player in AI globally less than two years after its creation, and AFP, a global press agency which has just celebrated its 80th anniversary, will allow Le Chat to strengthen the finesse and relevance of his responses. It will give greater value and visibility to the work carried out every day by the Agency's 1,700 journalists, in the field, all over the world.
Le Chat will draw on the 2,300 dispatches which enrich AFP feeds every day in six languages (French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Arabic). In a world flooded with information, where overabundance competes with falsehood and manipulation, users will benefit from more detailed, precise and sourced responses, in accordance with the highest journalistic standards; a particularly important added value for the adoption of generative AI by companies.
