In his cell at Bordeaux-Gradignan prison (Gironde), the 56-year-old comedian is said to be worried about his safety.
An incident occurred this Monday, January 13 at the end of the afternoon in the prison where Pierre Palmade has been incarcerated since December 9, report our colleagues from RTL.
The 56-year-old comedian was “surprised” to see the door of his isolation cell open to reveal a prison officer he did not know. The man introduced himself to him as a staff representative.
Except that since his incarceration, the actor has dealt with the same agents, according to the very strict rules of isolation, explains a judicial source to RTL.
The doors remain open
Furthermore, the gate separating the isolation sector from the rest of the prison as well as another cell in the same area remained open, as evidenced by the video surveillance images viewed by the same source.
A forbidden situation which only happens very rarely and during which the comedian could have been attacked by another inmate.

What is the isolation area?
The isolation area, where the comedian was placed, serves to put him away from others for his safety.
These areas are either reserved for dangerous prisoners or for those who work in risky professions such as members of the police or judges.
In the present case, it is the celebrity of the comedian and the media coverage of the affair which make it necessary to isolate him from the others. Note that isolation only lasts three months, unless renewed.
