Only 8 socialist deputies, out of 66, voted for it. A final letter from the Prime Minister, in which he undertakes to take up certain measures defended by Olivier Faure's troops, has come to ratify their position. While the PS was divided on the question, the first secretary defended the « non-censorship » by ensuring that the party of the rose appeared in « strong position » at the end of the negotiations.
According to him, François Bayrou's concessions to the socialists will make it possible to « advance the causes to which the French are attached ». Among the main gains: discussions in favor of a tax on the optimization of high assets, the abandonment of partial reimbursement of medicines,
