Ripple Surpasses $3.15, Reaching All-Time High

Ripple has broken its all-time high.

As of 8:15 AM on the 16th, Ripple is trading at $3.16, a surge of 18.72% from the previous day, according to CoinMarketCap.

In recent weeks, Ripple has been the most notable cryptocurrency. Even as Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency, faltered due to macroeconomic indicators like inflation concerns, Ripple continued its solo ascent. Then, when the U.S. December Consumer Price Index (CPI) came in below market expectations, the overall cryptocurrency market rose, further boosting Ripple’s upward momentum.

In fact, an analysis of Google Trends by the cryptocurrency-focused media outlet Cointelegraph showed that as of January 15, Ripple had surpassed Bitcoin in global Google searches, becoming the most sought-after cryptocurrency.

However, it has yet to achieve an all-time high on domestic exchanges. Back in 2018, Ripple was traded at 4,925 KRW on domestic exchanges.
