Lille and Nice as favorites for the moment
After the round of 16 played on Tuesday, LOSC (5th in the championship), winner of OM on penalties, seems to be the favorite among the teams already qualified. Nice (4th in Ligue 1), which won in Bastia (0-1) also has a chance to play. Dives-Cabourg, Le Mans, Reims and Guingamp also continue their journey in the Coupe de France. Haguenau – Dunkerke has been postponed and will have to be played at a later date.
Wednesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain faces FC Espaly (N3) and could complete the draw if successful. The same goes for OL, Rennes, Nantes, Strasbourg, Brest, Toulouse, Troyes, Bourgoin-Jallieu, Laval, QRM, Angers, Saint-Brieuc, Annecy, Cannes, Lorient and Thaon. The draw will operate according to the single pool principle, without geographical consideration. If a team is at least two levels lower, it will host its opponent. The round of 16 will be played on February 4 and 5.
