Ourense, Jan 14 (EFE).- The president of Ourense CF, Camilo Díaz, was “very proud” of his team despite being defeated by Valencia (0-2) in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey in soccer.
“Getting this far was already a reward for our club. We were all aware of the difficulty of this tie. The team competed very well, we had our chances but we didn’t materialize them and in the end what happened happened,” said the Galician leader.
Díaz made it clear that “the objective” from now on is to “focus” on achieving permanence in the First Federation because “this has been very nice, but what is really important is in the league.”
“I am left with the image of the stadium, with the support of the people for the team, it has been an indelible image,” said the president of Ourense CF. EFE
