TF1 had promised that with this new season, “The Voice” would do “his revolution“. So to attend, meet from next Saturday, February 1, the launch date of this 14th season. The front page will leave no respite for TV hook fans since, like in 2024, this new season arrives for just one week after the “Star Academy” final, no respite either for Nikos Aliagas, hosting the two programs (even if the auditions for 'The Voice' were recorded several months ago).
A new jury and redesigned mechanics
After Alphonse's victory last year in Zazie's team, who will win this season of all changes? Indeed, the jury was almost entirely renewed, with 3 out of 4 coaches who were not in the red chairs last year. Florent Pagny, emblematic coach of the show, will make his comeback after health problems which took him away from the stage and the sets for some time. If Vianney returns, he will be alongside two brand new coaches: Zaz and Patricia Kaas.
In addition to these new features, the mechanics of the show have been redesigned. No more “cross battles” and “super cross battles”, where the public present during the recording decided which candidate continued the adventure. The “groups” stage appears between the blind auditions and the battles, which arrive a little later than usual. During this stage, each coach must compose teams of 4 talents maximum (they chose 16 at the end of the auditions). Each group will then have to perform on the stage of “The Voice” in a table completely imagined by the coach. “They have carte blanche“, confided Pascal Guix, the artistic producer of the show. A crucial phase since each team of talents will go from 16 to 6 at the end of this stage.

This is when the battles will take place, 3 per team, broadcast only for one evening. The 12 candidates selected by the coaches will then compete in the live semi-final, where viewers will take control of the rest of the competition, to choose which candidate will represent their coach in the final. There will therefore be one talent per coach during the final, where the winner will be chosen as usual by the public.
A “second chance” button
Also new this season, a “second chance” button will be made available to coaches during blind auditions. Placed in front of them like the “block” button, this will allow them to draft a candidate for whom they have not looked back. If they have any regrets, they will be able to hear the candidate again during a second blind performance where the latter will try to convince them once again. Each coach will be able to press the button once during the season. The “block” rule is renewed, each coach will be able to twice prevent one of his rivals from fighting to recover a talent during the auditions.
Finally, the film set was also reviewed. The audience, which will be more numerous, surrounds the stage to give “one side arena“, confided Pascal Guix. The “family room”, which accommodates the candidates' relatives, was moved and is located on the main stage, higher up, so that the singers' families can attend the performances live.
