Antoine, a 46-year-old farmer from the Vosges, lost a contact lens during his portrait. The M6 host couldn't hold back laughing.
Monday evening, “Love is in the meadow” made its return to M6. The agricultural dating show, which is celebrating its twentieth anniversary, brings together fifteen farmers this season, three women and 12 men, aged 26 to 67, from all over France.
Among them, Antoine immediately made an impression on viewers. If journalists went to his home, 30 km from Epinal (Grand Est), to box his portrait, the 46-year-old farmer met Karine Le Marchand in the Paris region. Equipped with a packed basket, he appeared stressed to say the least.

When talking about the fire which destroyed part of the family mixed crop farm (milk, meat, cereals) when he was only 12 years old, Antoine rubbed his face. While passing his hand over his eyes, he accidentally dropped one of his contact lenses. “Oh, you lost your lens!noted the host. I saw a lens that fell.”
“Well she’s gone.”Antoine said sorry. Faced with the farmer's inaction, Karine Le Marchand hastened to go in search of the lost lentil. “Wait, don’t move, I’m going.”she declared before crouching at Antoine’s feet. “The problem is that I didn't put my contacts in eithershe admitted. I saw her jump. Put your leg over here”she asked him. And after a few minutes, Karine Le Marchand finally managed to find the lens. “Do you want us to rinse it?”she suggested.
To put all the chances on his side and find love, Antoine decided to give up his glasses. “It’s so cute someone who puts on contact lenses on purpose to make an effort”underlined Karine Le Marchand while waiting for a member of production to come to the farmer's aid. “We’re going to put it on you, that is if I may”blurted the host. Louise then intervened and replaced, not without difficulty, the lens in Antoine's eye. An unusual sequence which caused Karine Le Marchand to burst out laughing. “Well, we were at your grandmother who didn’t burn”she continued.
