Bad Bunny surprised fans with an announcement for his first residency ever.

The Puerto Rican singer published a video on his Instagram Jan. 13 saying he’s grateful for the appreciation he receives around the world, but that he is not ready to announce a global tour.

“For now,” he said in Spanish, “I am in Puerto Rico. I’m home and I’m having a good time, and if I’m honest, I do not want to leave here.”

And so, he’s doing a series of concerts in Puerto Rico.

Bad Bunny’s first ever residency is called “No me quiero ir de aquí,” which translates to “I do not want to leave here.” In it, he will play 21 shows between July 11 to Aug. 24 at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, also known as “El Choliseo” and “El Choli.” The venue, which has an 18,000 person capacity, is located in the capital, San Juan.

According to the residency’s website, the first six shows are for “Puerto Rico residents only.”

Bad Bunny’s sixth studio album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos,” which translates to “I should have taken more photos,” was released on Jan. 5 and has been leading the charts in the U.S. and globally.

The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s top streaming albums chart. “Baile Inolvidable” and “DtMF” currently have the top two spots on Spotify and Apple ’s Top 50 and Top 100 USA playlists, respectively. “DtMF” has the No. 1 spot on those charts globally as well.

Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has been intentional during this album rollout about focusing on Puerto Rico, declaring on the back cover of the album that this “project is dedicated to every Puerto Rican in the entire world.”

In the songs, he highlights historical figures, displays facts about Puerto Rico in the album visualizers, criticizes ongoing political issues on the archipelago and honors and celebrates Puerto Rican and Caribbean musical influences like salsa, plena and reggaetón.

Here’s everything you need to know to get tickets for the residency in Puerto Rico.
