Marc Lavoine and Sarah Poniatowski are the parents of three children: Yasmine (born in 1998), Roman (born in 2007) and Milo (born in 2010). A beautiful family who when they were still together – they separated in 2018 – spent beautiful hours in a medieval town located not far from Paris. It is at Montfort l’Amaury, on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, that they had found their happiness.
A town located an hour from Paris, much closer than their farm in Gers which ultimately remained closed 11 months of the year. “A country house near Paris is simpler. We can go there whenever we want. Ultimately we spend almost all our weekends there. Friends know that the door and table are open. As a result, the ‘flow’ is more harmonious and spreads throughout the year. And during the holidays we can go far away to experience something else and differently“, she declared to House side in 2013.
A town rich in history with the church and its sumptuous 16th century glass roofs, the Tour d’Anne de Bretagne, the ruins of the medieval castle, which immediately made the couple fall in love. “We already had friends there. It’s very close to Paris, the village is charming, there are all the shops and very good restaurants. With Marc, we love the area. This is where we wanted to set up our second place of life“, confirms the one who continues to bear the name Lavoine despite the separation.
Marc Lavoine and Sarah Poniatowski, their beautiful property completely redesigned by the interior designer
A second living space completely designed by Sarah Lavoine as she explains: “It is a beautiful property with a large garden with trees and in the middle a house built in the 1950s. We were seduced by the soul of the place. I kept its ‘family home’ style while integrating a few amenities more suited to our pace and lifestyle. (…) On the existing bases, I mainly reworked the upper floor by creating large bedrooms with bathrooms. To take full advantage of the views of the garden, I created large bay windows in metalwork which open onto a balcony running along the entire facade, which I clad in wood to give it a more contemporary feel..” A renovated house which looks like the one she shows on her Maison Sarah Lavoine site.
The couple being divorced now, we do not know what became of this beautiful family home, perhaps they kept it for the greatest happiness of their common children. Remember that Marc Lavoine is also the father of Simon Lavoine, born from his relationship with Denise Pascale, who died of cancer in December 2017. Subsequently, the singer married Line Papin and today, he is in couple with Adriana Karembeu.
For her part, Sarah Lavoine found love with Roschdy Zem and together they form a very discreet couple.
