Every day since January 7, Sindy has received hate messages and especially death threats. According to the screenshots she shared, a certain Jérôme M. contacted her on her professional email, the address of which is public.
“All this because I retweeted funny posts on the death of Jean-Marie Le Pen, I have the right to have opinions and I should not be threatened for that,” believes the young woman who has already experienced cyberbullying. “At first, I didn’t care a bit but after the second email, the threats became very vehement, more than usual,” she emphasizes. Victim in 2021 of a home-jacking, Sindy begins to “get scared” – “you can find everything on the Internet, including my personal data” – and barricades herself. “I close the shutters and avoid going out until things calm down. »

The flowery speech without finesse of his harasser, punishable by three years of imprisonment and a fine of 45,000 euros, is particularly aggressive.
