CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) — A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for multiple counties in southeast Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky.
The National Weather Service issued the Winter Storm Warning on Wednesday afternoon for the next system which is forecasted to bring snow to the area on Friday.
The snow is anticipated to begin before sunrise on Friday, January 10. Heavy snow is expected with accumulations reaching between 3 to 5 inches in certain locations.
The frozen precipitation will impact road conditions on Friday morning through at least Friday evening.
