The Bundesliga will be returning from the winter break in a few days. Shortly before that, Bayern had a friendly match – which turned into a goal festival.
The German record champions celebrated with central defender Eric Dier (10th minute) after a corner, veteran Thomas Müller (24th), winger Michael Olise (29th and 48th) with a brace, Joshua Kimmich (56th) with a long-range shot and young player Jonathan Asp Jensen (76th) a shooting festival with the Austrian runner-up.
Coach Kompany was happy after the final whistle: “We won, that's always good. No injuries either, that's the most important thing now,” he said at the Bayern microphone. Now he is focusing on the Bundesliga: “There is very little break, which means we have to give the maximum.”
90th minute +3: Final whistle. FC Bayern wins against FC Red Bull Salzburg 6-0.
90. Minute: Salzburg's Baidoo is clearly hit on the foot by Pavlović in the Munich penalty area. While the home team calls for a penalty, the referee allows the game to continue. By the way, there are three minutes on top.
87. Minute: Bayern's Scott starts dribbling just before the opponent's penalty area, finds the gap and finishes. However, the shot is cleared in time for a corner.
84. Minute: Although the German record champions are clearly on course for victory, the players around Coman want to improve. There are several professionals in red in Salzburg's penalty area, but the last pass keeps failing.
76. Minute: Goal for FC Bayern! Now the jokers are shining too. Coman heads the ball to Guerreiro, who was running on the outside. The Portuguese brings the ball sharply in front of the six-yard box. 18-year-old Asp Jensen holds out his foot and takes Salzburg goalkeeper Blaswich by surprise.
70. Minute: And Kompany changes again. Goalkeeper Max Schmitt will now guard the Munich box. It's time for Peretz to finish work.
68. Minute: The game has calmed down a bit now. Due to the changes, the German record champions first have to find their way, and there are initially no opportunities.
62. Minute: Bayern's sports director Christoph Freund announced before the game that all of coach Kompany's players would play. Kingsley Coman, Michael Scott, Jonah Kusi-Asare, Grayson Dettoni and Jonathan Asp Jensen now come into the game for Sané, Laimer, Kimmich, Dier and Olise. Coman takes over the captain's armband.
56th minute: Goal for FC Bayern! Kimmich cheekily pulls towards the goal from almost 25 meters. Salzburg's Gadou wants to clear the ball, but deflects it instead. Keeper Blaswich is on the wrong foot and can no longer prevent the goal.
54. Minute: Suddenly Salzburg tries it. Baidoo gets a lot of space and simply takes off. Peretz makes himself long, can parry the ball and also secure it when he follows up.
