The information has not yet been made official by the club, but his father confirms the departure of the 29-year-old player, who arrived at Racing 92 in 2013. Laid off at the beginning of December for showing up drunk at the training of the Ile-de-France club, the international hooker (33 caps), native of Auxerre, therefore negotiated his departure even though he had signed a contract extension two years ago with Racing 92, until 2027.

Near Auxerre, the player's father Fabrice Chat confirms that the negotiations for his departure have “satisfied both parties“. “What was happening at the club and in its environment, with the many changes announced internally, no longer suited him“, he adds.

It was during the 2015/2016 season that Camille Chat began her career in the Top 14 with Racing 92, after two years in the junior team. With the Ile-de-France club, Chat played nearly 200 matches and won the French championship in 2016. He was also a finalist in the European Cup in 2018 and 2020.
