The three nominees for the UNFP Trophy for the month of December are known. A striker from Olympique de Marseille, the LOSC scorer and a certain Rayan Cherki will compete for the Grail.
Who will succeed Jonathan David? Well what if it was… Jonathan David? The Canadian international is once again nominated for the title of player of the month in Ligue 1. In three matches, the LOSC star has scored four goals and provided an assist. Another big assessment for a player at the end of his contract next June.
Rayan Cherki is also clearly deserving in this creative role at Olympique Lyonnais. The Gones nugget scored a pawn and delivered two caviars to his teammates. His ratio of dribbles and chances created is also impressive.
Finally, Mason Greenwood completes the trio. The Olympique de Marseille winger scored two goals in two games with incessant activity on the right. He also shone against LOSC without being able to find the fault.
To find out the winner, you will have to wait until next month. Fans like the rest of us can vote starting today on the UNFP website for the player of their choice.
-The winners are as follows: Bradley Barcola in September, Zuriko Davitashvili in October and Jonathan David in December. Three different clubs acclaimed, a fourth in December?
