Festivals dedicated to musical genres

Several festivals offered in Ain give pride of place to a particular musical style. Thus, in July, Cuivres en Dombes is held. As its name suggests, the event gives pride of place, in particular, to orchestras, ensembles, brass bands, and brass instruments, offering many festive and dancing moments. If the program is not yet finalized, it is already established that the Mnozil brass, an Austrian group regular at the festival, will be there for the opening concerts of this 29e edition, July 5 and 6.

Later, reggae fans will meet in Anglefort for the 10the anniversary of the Nomade reggae festival (July 31-August 3), which will settle there for the 3e consecutive year. The program has not yet been fully revealed. But we know that Danakil, among others, will be there.

Lovers of metal, rock and hard rock will be in Saint-Maurice-de-Gourdans, at the beginning of August, from 1is at 3, for the Sylak open air. Around twenty groups will follow one another. The 3-day pass is already “sold out”. Finally, over four weekends from mid-September to early October, we usually find the Ambronay festival, which is dedicated to baroque music and early music. This will be the 46th edition. The program has not yet been revealed but the event welcomes every year big names (in direction, vocals, among the musicians) like Paul Agnew or Geoffroy Jourdain.
