NEWS CENTER – Ferdi Tayfur, who left his mark on arabesque music with his songs such as 'Hatıran Yeter', 'Emmoğlu', 'Bana Sor', 'Sabahçı Kahvesi', died in the hospital where he was treated.
Ferdi Tayfur, who fell ill at his home in Marmaris on December 15, was first sent by ambulance to a private hospital in the district, and then to another private health institution in Muğla. After his treatment in the intensive care unit of the general surgery department, the artist was transferred from Muğla to the hospital in Antalya on December 16, where he underwent sinus surgery.
FUNERAL CEREMONY HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED
According to the statement made by Recep Ergül, President of the Professional Association of Musical Work Owners of Turkey (MESAM), a funeral ceremony will be held for the master artist at the Atatürk Cultural Center on Saturday, January 4.
Tayfur's body will be buried in Yeniköy Cemetery after the afternoon prayer at Emirgan Çınaraltı Mosque.

Ferdi Tayfur, who recently came to the fore with the problems he had with his daughter Tuğçe Tayfur, was disturbed by his daughter creating a brand with the surname 'Tayfur' and banned her from using her own surname. Tuğçe Tayfur's mother and Ferdi Tayfur's ex-wife Necla Nazır were involved in this crisis.
