After joining the latest Disney+ series, Skeleton Crew, Jude Law became the first actor to have appeared in Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter.
However, he wasn’t the only one for long, with another actor now joining the list after making an appearance in the latest season of What If…?
The Marvel Animation series came to an end with a battle of The Watchers, and if the voice of the Eminence sounded familiar, that’s because it belonged to Jason Isaacs.
Isaacs is famed for his role as Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, but has also lent his voice to many animated series and films, including originating the role of The Grand Inquisitor in Star Wars: Rebels.
With the 61-year-old joining the cast of What If…?, it makes him the second actor to have appeared in all three franchises, but Law remains the only one to have done so with three live-action roles.
-Jude is currently starring in Skeleton Crew as Jod, a pirate and potential Force weilder, but starred in Captain Marvel as Kree warriour Yon-Rogg and as Albus Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts movies.
However, Isaacs has Law trumped when it comes to geek franchises, having appeared in DC-based projects such as Batman: Under the Red Hood, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and Superman: Red Son.
He also appeared in the Star Trek series, Discovery, and could argue that his role in Marvel’s Midnight Suns might have made him the first actor to appear in the three popular franchises.
Either way, both Law and Isaacs are brilliant actors who continue to show that ‘geeky’ projects aren’t as niche as they used to be and are the cool projects to take part in.
