What if the first snowflakes of the year 2025 fell Thursday January 2 to Friday January 3? Météo France places Hauts-de-France on yellow alert for snow and ice.

The North and Aisne are in this situation from 9 p.m. this Thursday, January 2. The alert will end at 11 a.m. in these territories. In Oise, Pas-de- and , this vigilance will be effective from midnight until 10 a.m., Friday January 3.

Temperatures are dropping this Thursday evening in Hauts-de-France. The thermometer indicates between 1 and 3°C inland and up to 4°C on the coast, this Thursday, January 2 in the evening. During the night from Thursday to Friday, it will be even colder. The temperature will be between -1 and 0°C inland compared to 2 and 3°C on the coast.

The weather on the morning of Friday January 3, 2025 is expected to be drier. Météo France, however, urges caution at the end of the night and morning. Roads may be slippery if it freezes on ground that has been damp from the day before.
