a new terrifying doll appears

TV SERIES – Always more terrifying. After the release at the end of December of season 2 of Squid GameNetflix waited until New Year's Day to reveal new images from the third and final season of the Korean series which will be released in 2025. On the streaming platform's social networks, Internet users were able to discover Young's new friend -hee, the emblematic doll of “1, 2, 3 Soleil”.

A new doll therefore appears in the mortal game and it is, this time, in the image of a young boy named Chul-su as we can read in the Netflix publication. Even if the 15 seconds of teaser don't reveal much, we can see some elements of the ordeal in which the characters will encounter him.

As you can see in the video below, three players enter a room where Young-hee, the first statue, is located. In front of her stands Chul-su and a railway seems to separate them as shown by the light of a level crossing. A two-tone light (green and red) which may be reminiscent of “Red Light, Green Light” (“Red Light, Green Light” in French), the English name for “1, 2, 3 Sun”.

The success of season 2 of Squid Game

Season 2 of Squid Game met with great success upon its release. According to Netflix, it accumulated 68 million views in one week, which places it in first place in the rankings in 92 countries and even gives it the record for the number of views for a series during its first week of broadcast. A record that was previously held by the 50.1 million views of season 1 of Wednesday.

After a dramatic finale, the third season must conclude the bloody adventures of player 456 Gi-hun. For the moment, we do not yet know the exact release date but, in an interview given to Varietythe creator of the series assumes that this final season should be available “ around next summer or fall ». All that remains is to know if the spectators will also be there.
