Three people were stabbed on New Year's Eve at the Isola 2000 winter sports resort (Alpes-Maritimes). Two of the victims, “including a minor” were “very seriously injured” reports public prosecutor Damien Martinelli. The perpetrator of the attack, on the run, is actively sought by the police.
The events took place around 2 a.m. on the night of December 31 to January 1, “in a residence” located on the station, confides the prosecution. “The first elements of context can make us consider the involvement of other people” adds Damien Martinelli, without specifying whether any arrests were carried out.
An investigation into attempted homicide was opened and entrusted to the Puget-Théniers gendarmerie, in order to clarify the circumstances of the attack and find the suspect.
