Stephen Bunting talking to Sky Sports: “It is weird because in the practice room earlier on and all day I’ve felt so nervous. I don’t want to let the crowd down – they are the heart and soul of the party – and they were unbelievable again. We can do this, you know, we really can.
“I’m thrilled – we always say it is the 12th man with the crowd and this place is no different. When you’re up on this stage it is a very lonely place and if things aren’t going right it is so tough and we need the crowd behind us 100% and listen, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much, you really did get me through that game again. I didn’t think I played my best but I am really happy to get over the line.
“I don’t look at the other games – it doesn’t interest me because you can prepare for games you’re never going to play. It is all about the here and now and in the moment and Peter Wright now.
