A 21-year-old young man lost his life in Montpellier (Hérault), Sunday December 22, 2024. According to our colleagues from Midi Libre, his car was hit from behind by another vehicle. A person got out to beat the young man and steal his car in the La Paillade district, in the middle of the day around 11 a.m.
He died in hospital
The 21-year-old man was then run over by his own car, driven by his attacker when he fled. His vital prognosis was in jeopardy when help arrived, but after being admitted to intensive care at the Lapeyronie hospital center, the young man suffered brain death. It was no longer possible to save him.
Still according to Midi Libre, the victim was known to the police, unfavorably. The possibility of a settling of scores is being considered, an investigation is being opened.
